George Sookiayak, born in Nome, Alaska, and raised throughout western Alaska, has worked in Information Technology since 2009. Currently residing in Grand Rapids, Alaska, he brings a background in design, having previously crafted newspaper layouts, websites, and marketing materials.

An avid traveler and photographer, he enjoys capturing the world through his lens. He also has a deep appreciation for good coffee, fine beer, and a well-made Old Fashioned. In his downtime, he loves watching old mobster movies and cheering for the Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Mariners—while holding out hope for the return of the Seattle Supersonics.
